Vintage 1950's Superior Color Transfers No. 202 Iron on Linens, Clothes and Gifts Complete
COLOR TRANSFER No. 202 has six dramatic bird designs that can be artistically arranged and ironed on sheets, pil- lowcases, aprons, place mats, table cloths, napkins, curtains, scarfs, clothes and other items. You'll discover that the colors stay vivid and fresh-looking after many, many washings. HOW TO IRON ON
SUPERIOR COLOR TRANSFERS
1-Cut around transfer design, leaving a margin.
2-With a moderately hot iron (this is approximately rayon heat on irons with temperature control), TEST heat by ironing trial design and number on a scrap of fabric similar to article.
3-Press the article to be decorated on an ironing board or. other padded surface.
4-With printed side down, place transfer design on article. Use a single, FIRM, slow stroke to iron on. IMPORTANT: Hold transfer at margin and raise it as you move iron across motif. (See illustration on the front of this envelope.)
5-Remove transfer, and place a clean sheet of paper over the design; iron over paper about one-half minute to remove the excess color.
6-When you iron on the second motif, cover the first one with a sheet of paper to prevent smudging.
For best results, iron transfer designs on washable, smooth fabrics; do not use sheers like chiffon or nylon.
HOW TO LAUNDER
Let color set for 24 hours before laundering. Use mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not soak, rub or wring. After article is dry, cover transfer design with a sheet of paper and iron. DO NOT DRY CLEAN.
